Ecuador Nacional is a rare sort of organic chocolate that is used with pride here a Lizin vrt. It is known to be one of the oldest and best quality cocoa nibs. It is used by only 3% od all chocolate makers in the world. Because it grows under taller fruit trees it has a unique fruity-chocolate taste.

In Ecuador it grows only in certain areas where the farmers came together to form a fair trade community.

Our chocolate is made from tree to bar. Egon gets the cocoa nibs from Ecuador where they stone ground them into fine powder. The powder is then mixed with cocoa butter and added sweetener,  after that the chocolate is heated to 45 degrees Celsius or 113 degrees Fahrenheit. Our chocolate has a 75% precentage of pure chocolate.
